Sean McLaughlin, The Moderner, is a singer-songwriter from Huntington Beach. With a love for roots music, Sean’s songwriting reflects his many musical influences such as folk, punk, gospel, and indie rock.  Sean will be featuring some fellow including Jordan Avila who will do a solo acoustic set, and Zach Holloran who will play some original tunes on Ukelele.
 Sean has played in bands throughout the years, after which he started producing his own music. These home recordings reflect his minimalistic style and in the 2010’s he began performing solo.
 Sean continues to be inspired, writing daily, and always striving to improve on the craft. His latest release, the self-titled album The Moderner, was produced by Jor Avila of Wam Dingis. It is available on all streaming platforms. And there’s more new music on the way!
