Corey Highberg is a Southern Californian native, teaching, performing, and writing about music throughout his life.  He currently teaches and studies Musicology at Cal State Long Beach and plays his enthusiastic mix of originals and covers at various venues throughout the southland.  Influenced by Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, Billy Joel, and many more, his music weaves a fascinating narrative of the complexities behind the human heart.
