Caroline Carpenter is a singer/songwriter originally from Long Beach that has been based in Seal Beach since she became a lifeguard here in 2009.  Playing in bands of varying genres throughout her younger years, Caroline's real roots come out when she is on stage with just a mic and guitar.  Her originals are a unique twist of the folk and country she absorbed from her deep American South roots along with the surf rock and reggae she was surrounded by growing up in Southern California.  Caroline sings with emotion;  her lyrics will make you laugh, but could also make you hurt.  Covering songs from the 40's up to the early 2000's, she makes a familiar song feel fresh again and brings back memories of tunes you didn't realize you forgot.  With over 20 years of experience, Caroline's skilled guitar playing and singing are just a part of her ability to entertain.
