Tonight we have a special astronomical treat! The moon will pass into the Earth’s shadow starting around 10:00pm and continue through 2AM. When the moon is fully in the Earth’s shadow, it often glows a lovely orange or reddish color because of the sunlight refracted by Earth’s atmosphere. This is sometimes called a “Blood "Moon” and it is beautiful no matter what you call it! Starting around 9pm Thurs., we will host a couple of groups of astronomers with their telescopes in the park across the street from Bogarts. Come by and enjoy the view!
